When will I get my financial aid refund check from school?
im attending bmcc for the fall semester that will start on the 26th.. i want to kno when will i recieve my leftover financial aid money and how will i get my necessary school books if i dont have the check by then?

- Fafsa checks usually come a week before school starts so you should be recieving the check by next week. However, if you are worried then you should call your university and ask them when will it come?
- Once the funds are applied to tution and fees, the remaining portion is sent to the campus bookstore where you can buy books and supplies using these funds. I know that sometimes it is easier to get the books cheaper elsewhere but you are going to have to pay out of pocket then Whatever funding you do not use in the bookstore is given as a check in mid-October. The reason this is done is to avoid students from dropping out and then claiming financial aid funds
