How do credit unions help people manage finances and live within their means?

These are questions I am answering; therefore, I need to know some info on how credit unions effectively assist individuals and families.

1. Hi Crystal. Like most Financial institutions, they help folks to manage their finances. I do belong to a CU. They are not much different from Banks. However, they are far more people friendly. Any qualified financial advisor, which I am, can assist any person. But they have to be willing to help themselves first. That is about it.
