I have a below 3.0 gpa in college (BS Finance) and want to get a career started in finance?
I attended a university but have a gpa of below 3.0. With the current job market, I want to have a career in a salary finance position(i.e., analyst, consulting, PE, banking), but no luck yet. How can I increase my chances? Where can I start my new step towards life?

- If all else fails you can always join the army. lol they do have a finance branch.
- Get a better GPA, or go to grad school. Financial firms are very selective in who they hire, so without a decent GPA it will be very difficult. Perhaps start networking a lot and build up a lot of good relationships with people in industry, who knows, maybe one of those relationships could lead to a job.
