What do you think about a double major between Finance and Accounting?
Does this double major make me more marketable as an employer? Can I accomplish the same thing with a minor in accounting? Is it even necessary to know anything about accounting when dealing with Finance? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

- It is so useful, no matter what facet of finance you go into. In both corporate finance and wealth management, the ability to navigate financial statements well is crucial. That said, it might not be the most marketable, since many people in charge of hiring have no idea the benefit of an accounting background in finance. They just want more math and computer science, which is silly. If you find the right place though, your education in both finance and accounting will be welcomed. Good luck!
