How long does it take for financial aid to process after your file is complete?
I was chosen for verification, and my financial aid file was complete on the first of August, and fall classes begin at the end of the month. Do you think I will get my financial aid award in time?

- Maybe, maybe not. Take this as a lesson learned to not put off to the last minute what you need today and should have finished in the past; and as a lesson to how the adult world works.
- You should have filled out the form for financial aid a long time ago. A typical form takes a few weeks to process. Your school should see that you filed within a couple weeks. You may be lucky if you get any money at all with as late as it is. They only give out so much money and if you fill out late they tend to say tough luck try again next year.
