Can i use my driving test pass certificate to get car finance?

My driving licence hasnt arrived yet and i am buying a car on finance, they need to know i can drive. can i use my certificate as proof??

2. Yes you could! but in all honesty I don't see why you have to prove that you can drive before they sell you a car, you could be buying the car for anyone, I have bought many cars and never once have I had to prove that I can drive, to them a sale is a sale, end of story.
3. It would depend upon the policies of the dealership with whom you are dealing. Call them and ask if it's acceptable. If it isn't, then ask if they can hold the vehicle you want until your license arrives. It shouldn't be too far off, and dealerships are usually happy to go above and beyond to make a sale.
4. I think you've got things wrong: I suspect they've asked for your driving licence as a form of photographic identity, which of course your pass certificate isn't.
