- EE is a tough road to go down. On the first day in some of the engineering classes, the profs will say that by the end of the semester, only 25% of the students will still be there, and of those 25%, only half will pass. They are usually right. Unless you can stomach taking classes over and over to get a better GPA, I would switch to Finance and Econ. Some people just don't do well in engineering. It doesn't make them less intelligent, they just do better in other areas. If you are really struggling through engineering, you may also struggle through an engineering career. Go with what you do best. You will get more job satisfation out of it. Finance degrees pay well.
