Why Canadians Hide Their Dictators?

Maurice Le Noblet Duplessis, was the Prime Minister of Quebec from 1936 to 1959 (that was the year he died). He ruled Quebec under a strong dictatorship. Under his Canadian dictatorship he: frequently worked under traffic of influences, was an anti-communist, used force to attack labor unions, strangely always won all elections, he publically stated that he hated Jehovah I-Witnesses, and pledged Quebecers to stay rural, traditional and francophone. During his Canadian Dictatorship orphanages and schools were financed by the province of Quebec, while physicatric institutions where funded by the Canadian Federation. In order to get extra money, Canadian Dictator Maurice Duplessis transferred thousands of healthy orphans from the orphanages of Quebec to the physicatric institutions in the province stating that they were crazy, but actually they weren’t. In those mental institutions orphans were forced to work as slaves. Many of them were object of medical experimentation. But Canadians do not want to remember Maurice Duplessis, most of them, not even know he existed at all! In Quebec, some remember him as the one who adopted the flag of Quebec, and as the great defensor of the French language and autonomy of Quebec... but not as a dictator. WHY? Are they too ashamed of him? Nowadays in Quebec, the province is urging to close English-speaking hospitals and schools. There is a future dictator named Pauline Marois, from Quebec, that want English-speaking Quebecers to pass a French test in order to apply to any public job. English-speaking Quebecers have lived in Quebec for as long as 5 or more generations in Quebec, but for Pauline Marois they are still foreigners. Let’s not talk about the immigration concept that Pauline Marois has. So, why Canadians do not want the world to know they had and still have dictators?
