Finances, How can I get financially set or rich?
I am 29 years old with a AAS degree in health services mgmt also a registered medical assistant , I am a single parent and I need a better game plan for me and my daughter. Basically i need to know what can I do to make more money or get finacilally set to the point that I dont have to struggle as a single parent. Whats my best alternative going back to school, starting my own buisness, or investing into something ... if so how do i get started.

- Go back to school and invest in your future. But riches only come with hard work. so be prepare to work.
- Get into real estate. Try websites like www.creonline.com They have message boards there and usually people are very knowledgeable. If you live in west coast or east coast states, real estate isnt very good to get into(not to mention you needs tons of money down), but in the mid-west you can get started for less than 5k.
- With a better degree you can make more money, which is really the problem, an income issue. (I am in your same position, went back to school this fall). Starting a business can be a black hole for money depending on what you are doing. You should be investing something now, a little something a month- long term investments.
- look first there are three ways to add income one of the easy is to do away with wants and to save money - like do i really need a cell phone or would i be better off investing into the future!! if you decide to do that say you take the 600 a year and invest it -- second way to make money =unearned income the 600 could make 30 dollars with out any risk!!! by the time one is 45 he should have as much unearned income as earned!!!! better job -- but you are in a catch -22 can you afford to take off from work to go to school == if not talk to your manager and ask what in house training you can take to get a higher position at the hospital -- be honest tell him/her you want her job!!! hope this helps!!!
