Does medical school like it when you have a biology major and a finance minor?
Does that look well rounded to them? I am also interested in finance.

- actually to med school, you major doesnt really matter, study whatver you like, as long as you take all the pre-med requirements ( chem, cal, bio, phys, o-chem, etc) they like an all around good student with really good grades and great MCAT score
- Does not matter what you choose as your major, just as long you fulfill the requirements, take the MCATs and apply
- Most medical students have science degrees--not out of necessity, but due to assuming this is what is needed for medical school. You are correct in thinking that the admission committees are looking for the well rounded student. A finance background will certainly be seen as an asset. The majority of potential medical students only consider primary care or research as the careers available to MDs. But MDs with an acumen for business/finance are worth their weight in gold and the admission committees know this. I hope your future is a bright one!
- You don't go to Medical school for finance you go there for Medicine. The Biology you learned in college will certainly help you in Medical School. That is great you know all about finances now because you are going to need all the help you can get in figuring out how to budget the bills around paying for Medical school.
