Graduate school and undergraduate degree differences?

I will be graduating in May with my undergraduate degree in Finance. I am considering applying to graduate school to obtain a master's in education. Is this even possible? Do you have to have a B.A. in education to have a master's in education too?

  1. You don't always have to have a BA in the same subject you do your graduate school in. Sometimes, you may be required to take a 'pre-masters' program, where you take a few undergraduate courses to get you caught up in the subject, but other times it's not required. Look at the requirements for admission at the schools you plan on applying to.
  2. Some masters programs have pre-requisites, meaning classes that you need to have taken before you can enroll in the masters program. You need to check with the schools you want to apply to and see what their requirements are. No one on Y!A can tell you that.
