How good is the london school of business and finance for graduate employment ?

- One of the best universities in the WORLD! A lot of famous people such as a rock-star, a president and many executives and CEOs of well-established companies all went to the London School of Business. Good Luck! Cheers!
- If you mean the London Business School (LBS) then it is one of the most successful and prestigious business schools in the world. Go there and start a brilliant career with any corporation anywhere, in any country. Their teaching and business research is excellent, and many major companies have links with LBS. If you mean the East London School of Business at University of East London, then think again. It is one of the ex-polytechnics and has had a rough time with the government inspectors (the QAA I mean). Their facilities are improving but the quality of teaching an research is not up to scratch, and very few big firms have linked to UEL for sponsorship or to find management employees. Actually, I don't know of any. So, which do you mean?
- The London Business School is excellent. The London School of Business and Finance on the other hand is not. It tries to play off the name of the more famous business school. It's reputation is not great, mainly because few have heard of it. That does not bode well for a business school, when much of the point in doing a degree at a B-school is the reputation of the school you managed to get into. It is unlikely that you would get a decent investment banking job with it.
- Everyone has pretty much covered this already. As they all say, the London Business School is outstanding. Courses there are very expensive and demanding. Univ of East London is not very good. I would suggest a broader search for the type of course you want to do. If you want to look in London, check out key Schools. You need to look for those that have a good teaching record (the QAA score) and also those that have a good research record (the Research ssessment Exercise - scored up to 5). The East London Uni will not have leading researchers teaching on the course and basically will have little value in the labour market. Go to the best University you can afford and qualify for.
