  1. add me on msn dan_2006_2006@hotmail.co.uk i will help you
  2. start a regular work out system that you can do everyday that doesnt take much time. then for eating if your habbits are bad you can eat w/e u want but in small portions throuthout the day.
  3. exercise plan with good eating habits.Get off the computer.
  4. There's no need to spend any money, but you can't expect it all just to be easy and convenient. Keep doing what you're doing now, with long, brisk walks, or jogging, do exercise at home (you don't need any machine to do that, just look online for exercises you can do) and make sure you stick to them, get into a sport or something, and you'll lose weight. Just keep at it, don't expect some kind of miracle. You're going to have to work for it. Remember you may need a diet change, too. That doesn't mean you have to live on soup and carrots, it just means cutting down on things like soda, crisps/chips, fast food, things like that.
  5. what ever you do, dont let people get to you, if you feel upset at what they say, dont react, im not sayin ignore them, im sayin take a deep breath and answer them with a ok swimming and running/walkin are great work outs when you run/walk, try ankle or wrist weights you can buy from sport shops it really helped me tone up for state finals (for runnin)
  6. hi there, its great that you are doing this for you, firstly i would suggest setting a long term goal (1yr) keep it realistic and make a monthly aim by averaging your total goal and keep track of it. I blog reguarly on workouts, recipes that are healthy and most are done at home (im a trainer) feel free to read or even get it delivered in your email (its on the page) Firstly you have to alter your diet, decrease the amount of carbs (pastas, rice, white bread) and focus on food that are protein rich and have fibre which will help with ceansing as well as some muscle building (required to burn fat thru muscles) Aim to eat 5-6 meals p/day with the largest in morning and the smallest at night as our metabolisms slow as the day goes by. last meal no later then 6-7pm. I would change your walk from evening to morning as this is when the body is most active and able to burn most calories. Check my blog and email if you have specific question id be happy to help. good luck
  7. Start to learn about the food you eat, read the labels. Cut the sugar and crap food. Only that makes me loose about one kilo a week. If I really want something sweet it can help to go out for a walk or do some exercise. After that I'm not so in for food and also don't want to waste the effort I just made. Coming to exercise, the walk on the evening is really god. Make it 40minutes or 1 hour at least. That will burn the extra you haven't burned for that day before bedtime. But in my case the food is the most important. Eat real meals, more on the morning and to lunch. Less on the evening. Make your own food. Don't do too much changing. You have to keep up with the plan. And the plan is your LIFESTYLE, not a diet you will stop when you lost the weight. I hate to call something a diet, you can't start with the old habbits again.
  8. The best thing about change is that it takes time. I say its the best thing because it separates those of us who really want something and those that have a transient (short-term) desire for things but forget about it the next day. It really does take time to change yourself. Your body is made to maintain the status quo. But it is also capable of change. Don't fret on the medium-term (tomorrow, next week, next month) and focus on what you have to do NOW to change not for tomorrow but to change come next year. It can be done. I guarantee it. I've known people to really slim down but it wasn't over night. It took time. And I've not seen people for a couple of months (usually over summer) and when I next saw them they had completely changed. Low self-esteem is misunderstood. It is the fact that you look at yourself constantly every day. And in doing so you maintain the status quo. Maintain your low self-esteem. So accept that change is possible, that change is not going to happen over night (even if you notice you've lost 1/2 kg), that it is those that are in it for the long journey that make it. Good luck.
  9. one very important thing to realise is that losing weight won't improve your self-esteem. you need to improve that first, or during the weight-loss process but don't expect that suddenly your self esteem issues will go away when you lose weight because, as we know, life isn't only about looks. have you ever noticed that sometimes your out or at a party and a girl walks in and you just go 'wow' and then when you actually look closely, she has imperfections... she might be a few kilos overweight, have some acne, have circles under her eyes but u don't notice at first... why? because she walks in with confidence and she flaunts herself cos she loves herself and everyone agrees with her. and at 5"7 and 80kg, u don't have that much weight on you that anyone would dislike if you held yourself well and were confident. im not saying its bad to lose weight and by all means go for it, but don't only rely on that for confidence. you just need to know that u are u and the most attractive people are those who are themselves and not trying to impress other or be other people. and how to lose weight.... hmmm... maybe try going for a walk every day, cutting out junk food but not cutting down good food like proper meals with carbs, meat and vegies. good luck with everything, hope that helps! love urself first :)
