How would I surprise my wife with plastic surgery for her?
She has wanted a tummy tuck and a boob job for a while. It's nothing major, just erasing some stretch marks from our kids and whatnot. I'd like to surprise her with it, but a.) she handles the finances, and b.) she's very concerned about the upfront costs. Ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

- NO SURPRISE! Don't do it! The next time she brings it up, tell her that if she really wants to do it, that is fine, and that whatever money issues there may or may not be, you'll figure them out. Can you imagine of she walked up to you and said "Here honey, I got you a coupon for some plastic surgery!" PLEASE tell me (and the rest of us) that you will NOT walk up to your wife and say "Honey, I signed you up to get your tummy and boobs taken care of"!
- Judging by your screen name Id say you are Military and I am too and I too am a wife that controls the finances but, if she has told you she really wants this done (cuz I too want the same she does for the same reasons oddly enough) then go to her and say honey Ive thought it over and if you really want it done then do it. You know how much money you make and I would hope have an idea of how much bills and groceries are every month so sit down and make a plan on how to save the money so she can have it done before you go and talk to her so when she has a question about the money part you will be ready and know what to say. But just make sure she really wants to have it done and do a little research about it. And just make her feel that you want to her to do it for herself, not for you. Then she should be happy excited and ready to do it! Good luck!!
