9. If you read about Jews in History many were very poor and not so smart in many places. The immigrants, for instance, who came to New York City's Lower East Side were mostly poor, uneducated, Eastern European Jews. The other Jews actually didn't like their Eastern European brothers, and looked down upon them. If you look at Jews in Germany during Hitler's time, there were many that did well, but many were poor and not so educated. One of the myths of history is that all Jews have Money, all jews are rich, and all Jews are very smart. History doesn't bear it out. Many Jews in Europe in the early 20th century were socialists. Socialism in the ghettos was making great headway. But I'm not sure if they knew what the result of this would be - Communist Atheistic Russia. Many Jews in Brooklyn did well and set themselves aside (Hasidic Jews). Many other Jews felt that the old ways were too out of step. So like every other group Jews were a diverse people with smart, not so smart: rich, and not so rich; etc.
