Engagement ring?

Where is the cheapest country/shop to buy an engagement ring - I'm asking this as my finances aren't too good at the minute

  1. we bought mine at kings jewelry for 90 dollars...nothing extravagant, 10 k white gold with a 1/8c diamond...but it works for us.....
  2. try ebay
  3. On line stores sound pretty cheap. I don't have any addresses, but I'm sure someone here could hive you some recommendations. Also check walmart and target. They surprisingly have some good looking engagement rings.
  4. second hand shops.
  5. try www.uniondiamond.com, I bought there. http://www.diamondhelpers.com/fivesteps/1-uniondiamond.shtml review online on prices. ===== Prices ========== Rating: This means that prices on 20 randomly chosen diamonds averaged among the best prices we found on the web. Our Comments: Prices are on such slim margins that they offer the best prices you will find right out of the gate. They are sure to please, and work hard to make every deal work. ===== Selection ========== Rating: Our Comments: They are true wholesalers by nature, so they always have access to thousands of fine diamonds including ideal cuts, larger sizes, unusual shapes, and extra fine qualities. Ask for what you want, and if they do not already have it in stock, they can get it for you, so be patient. It will be worth waiting a day to be sure you are getting a great deal.
  6. Go away from the traditional diamond and have your birthstone set in the engagement ring, maybe with some diamond accents. It is good luck to have the groom's birthstone in the engagement ring. Hopefully you weren't born in April!
  7. You could get a great deal, on engagement rings at either Jared's, Kay Jewelers, Zales stores. Or if you're planning to be in New York City, there is the Diamond & Jewelry District located, on West 47th Street between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue (Avenue Of The Americas).
  8. look at sam's club... they have some beautiful rings for $300 also try walmart they have sets that are like 350
  9. you can get a fab ring with a great diamond at the Los Angeles jewelry district. Even if you don't live in LA, put LA jewelry district in google, and there are a bunch of websites. You can get a diamond engagement ring for almost 1/2 the retail price....Just DON'T go to a mall jewelry store!! They hike up the prices by a zillion...and half the time it's a crappy diamond... Good Luck!
  10. Walmart, Kmart, pawn shops, eBay, Craigslist, Antique shops, estate sales, classifieds, (people selling rings in need of money for something else), The options are endless.
