When financing a used car in another persons name how long would it take to transfer to mine (my sis)?

1. I refinanced my fiance's truck in feburary to get a better interest rate and a cheaper monthly payment. The bank told me to wait atleast 6 months before putting it back in his name. I'm actually hopeing to transfer it this weekend. Good Luck, hope this helped! :)
2. A car that is financed cannot simply be transferred to someone else's name without it being refinanced into that person's name. Otherwise, the car would have to be paid off for a transfer of title.
