I just turned 18 and want to finance a cheap used car. Need some help!!!?

I just turned 18 and I was just approved for a credit card. I was considering financing a car figuring that I have no bills to pay and make about 1000$ a month with a good amount of financial aid. I was curious if of course with a co-signer I can finance a car with $1500-$2000 down payment. On average what will my interest rates run at if I do finance it. Just any information possible about financing for a younin will be helpful. Thanks before hand for replys. Oh btw the car that I am intrested in was advertised as $5000.

2. Because you are just starting off you will have a high interest rate if you sign by yourself. But if you get a co-signer( with a FICO of 700+) you would probably get the lowest interest rate. But if you want to get the auto loan by yourself try going to WWW.CARMAX.COM. They have newer cars with cheap prices. Happy Shopping.
