1. Don't get yourself in massive credit card debt. Pay the balance off at the end of the month. The interest rates are very high and the minimum payments will never get you out of debt.
2. Don't spend more than you earn. Set up retirement savings early. Open a Roth IRA, start a 401K. Keep an emergency savings account. Pay bills first,including food and get fun things last including new clothes, toys, electronics, cosmetic stuff, etc.
