How am I going to get financial aid in my situation?
I went to school once I graduated high school. I partied and slept. I went to another school which my mother help pay for me to get there(and the first one). My mother and I had some issues so I moved out. She vowed never to pay for another semester. And so far she has held true to that. We worked through our issues, but that small time that i spent out of her house, I ruined my credit. I have been trying to get it back decent but it is a slow process. Is there anything that I can do to get financial aid? Or just monies to better my credit?

- Apply for FAFSA. You can do that online at www.fafsa.gov. I didn't get anything because the people that run that are hallucinating that my parents are rich, even though they're anything but. But if you're over 24 your parent's income shouldn't matter when applying for that. You may be able to get a scholarship, a grant, or at least a loan that may or may not charge interest.
- Depending on the type of loan you are requesting, Credit does not play as a factor. Fill out the FAFSA ASAP and contact the school you plan to go to. You may be required to keep a P/T job for expenses , but if you focus you will be able to handle it.
