How can you get a lot of financial aid from colleges?
If I get into any of the colleges that I've applied, I'm going to need some serious financial aid because a lot of them are 40-50 thousand dollars a year!! Is there any way that I can get financial aid from them?

- fill out FAFSFA forms. there are deadlines for these, so you better hurry and find out when they are. my cousin was able to get $12,000 in financial aid from FAFSFA. you can also try out calgrants.com - that's basically free money, but again..you need to fill out FAFSFA forms. how much you get depends on how much your or your family's income is.
- www.fastweb.com offers numerous scholoarships through contests of all sorts, submitting the best video, poem, essay, picture. etc.
- If you are still in high school, bug your guidance dept. If you don't ask , they wo'nt come to you. In addition to the usual student loans & govt grants there are " private " grants you may qualify for. There are academic & athletic grants out there, but you have to sniff them out. Make inquiries early & often at the high school & college level. Best of luck
