Do the amount of relatives attending college affect how much financial aid I get?
Every application for financial Aid I get asks me how many relatives are going attending college. I think that they ask this question to find out how much my parents are spending on them already... Thanks Do the amount of relatives attending college affect how much financial aid I get?

- Yes, if you have siblings who are in college this will greatly effect your fin aid. Just be sure you are allowed to include them... there are very specific regulations regarding this. (You can't include a sibling if he is married, or over 24, or is a veteran, or has children he provides more than half support to or can answer yes to any of the other dependency questions listed on the fafsa). If your parents are in college, you can't include them.
