  1. After you are married, you will depend on your spouse's income, not your parents. But if they claim you for 2007 on their taxes, their income may still be needed for your FAFSA. You need to contact a local school and ask the FA officer.
  2. Dont fill in your parents information. Just your spouces tax information. I have a baby so I didnt need to put my parents information. Once you have a dependent or are married....you dont need your parents information. Trust me Ive spoken with my financial aid advisor alot....lol... I suggest you call a financial aid advisor too just to make sure :] fafsa is open all the time and they really are helpful.
  3. If you fill out your fafsa today, you will put your income and your parents (if required). If you wait and apply in 11 days, you will put your income and your husbands income (even if you didn't do your taxes together in 2006). Normally you have to put your parents income until you are1 or more of the following. 24 years old or over, married, have kids you support, are an orphan or a ward of the court, or have a bachelors degree. Deadlines are on the fafsa, but basically you need to apply for fin aid as EARLY as possible....Like within the next 11 days if you are going to start school in January. Plus again using your new 2007 income if you are going to go in the fall of 08... so really you need to do 2 applications.
