- 0% Only $14,000 left to pay off of my student loan. =\
- No they didn't. I worked during college and paid my own way.
- I wish
- NONE. I paid for all of mine out of my own pocket.
- 0.00% My sister, Princess Perfect, they funded her entire University education, boarding and food. I had to join the Army to pay for my education.
- Are you kidding ... they'd rather put my sister through a private university and let me struggle
- 0% I had to bust my a-- to get an education and am still paying for it 10 years later. While my sister got to go to spain and travel while she got her education. All funded by dad.
- No.
- No, I paid for it all...and am still paying off student loans (its been almost 10 years).
- Nope. I owe Sallie Mae lots of money though!
- what do you care
- NO .
- No!
- Not at all - I'm finishing my final semester after 6 years towards my 4 year degree. I'm headed to law school in the fall. All of it was covered through loans, grants, and scholarships.
- No! not a penny. I had a 4 year scholarship for my Bachelors, and Uncle Sam put me through my Masters.
- Are you kidding?? They were thankful I got my diploma.
- My parents always promised me they would but now that I'm actually at that point in my life they have not and I don't see them planning on it in the near future.
- Yes, 100%. I remind myself to be thankful of this every day. So many of my friends have huge debt cos of college education. I'm lucky, I've been given a head start financially in life. I am a very hard worker though and I this money has not gone to waste. I now have an excellent job. Thanks parents : )
- Most of my college education is being financed by grants and scholarships. The remaining is from my mom and aunt.
- Yes. It is their job after all if they want to see me out of the house ASAP.
- Somewhat. My mom gave me a 2,000 dollar savings account and told me to use it for college and keep adding some money to it every chance I get. That was two years ago, and I've used all of it by now. The rest, I paid on my own. I usually pay like 300 per semester for tuition and another 250 for books. And now I'm graduating. In MAY!! :-) Yay me! Do I get a best answer as a graduation present? :-) It was worth a shot.
- i have a scholarship that pays for the tuition and expenses. but, my parents pay for my gas, food, and car insurance during the semester so i dont have to work and i can focus on my schoolwork. but, i do work during the summer so i can buy things i want ...
- They couldn't afford to. I wasn't exactly a "safe bet" at the time either. I took out a lot of loans.
- no
- I'm not in college. I'm in trade school.
- I had thought they had, but the last time we brought it up, they said they never Financed it. I'm glad, because at least they don't have to feel bad that I never got anything out of my College Education.
- Financed 100%...i have the most amazing parents in the world!!!!!!
- hahahahahahahahahahhahahahahhahahahahhahahahhahahahhahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhahhhhhhhhhh you're funny. The only think my parents ever financed was their own habits.
- They let me live at home(rent free) while I went to a very large state university in the same town. Saved me on the room and board.
- Yes, all of it. It was my Dad's greatest gift to his three daughters. He knew we would always be able to support ourselves no matter what.
- No...I was fortunate to receive pell grants from financial aid.
- nope, the govt is!
- I never went to college. But our son did and my parents and my husband and I finance all of his college education, he does not have any debts. He went on to Grad school for 2 years and we paid for that.
- My grandparents left me a trust fund because they died before I was the age to go to college... I also lost my dad and 2 sets of aunts and uncles when I was young... But in that trust fund, I paid for 1 year of college and bought my first car... The rest of the funds paid for my first apartment to move into and furniture... So maybe a 25% of the funds went to college... But this was about 30 years ago so prices were a lot cheaper then...
