What are some of the most creative ways your x has put off paying child support?
Not enough postage, a tornado cost me my job, I don't think you need it, let your new husband pay our kids bills. These are a few I have heard recently, I am just wondering how many other men/women are in the same boat? I have 3 wonderful daughters....they are losing out on a lot, mostly because, however creative we can be with our finances, we just don't make enough money, for everyone to do everything!

- My ex kept changing his job whenever the state found him. He even went as far as getting paid 'under the table' for about a year or so.
- kept changing jobs, working under the table, and finally, just said he was not gonna pay, went to prison for 6 months...i had his parental rights terminated and my husband adopted our son!! much better situation for my little boy, and the ex went back to prison for 10 years...threatening to do us harm when he gets out in 2009
- mine went to jail or prison rather on purpose just to get out of paying his child support . He used to beat me so I imagine when he gets released I will have to go into hiding again for the umpteenth time to keep me and my son safe . Oh well that is the price you pay for trying to do the right thing .
- I know how u feel. I don't get much help from my kids dad either. My ex had his mom to call and ask me if i would have his support put on hold because he had to take custody of his OTHER two children. He also was trying to get disability for himself(he's 27 yrs old). He just didn't have enough money to go around and the 95.00 mthly he owed me was too hard for him. What a bunch of $%##$@!!!!!!!!!!
