How come when families who work really hard for a stable home, life,& finance never get real help when needed?

So many good people in the WORLD who are honest and have made mistakes and try to correct it by asking for help from others. Why is it no one ever lends a hand?

1. Because the world is a cruel, cruel place where everyone only cares for themselves.
2. Because the root of most of these problems is a lack of money, resources are limited. Even big charities have problems sometimes. Sadly, the world runs on money and there is never enough.
