How do I move to another country & get financing to purchase a running business there? i.e. from US to the UK
I would like to purchase an ongoing hotel or hostel in Ireland or Scotland but have no idea how one goes about getting financed in a foreign country. any suggestions?

- There are no magic tricks in obtaining finance in any country. Clearly you already have available funds or you would not be considering the purchase of a hotel or similar. Once in the UK, start the long process of calling on various banks, real estate agents and business consultants. Determine whether you are legally entitled to own a business and what the various implications are. Make sure you have a lap-top and cell phone with you. Within a few days of foot slogging and meetings, you will know where you are and where you need to be.
