i bought a car on hire purchase how long should it take for the finance company to give me an answer?

put a deposit down on saturday, it's monday today and haven't heard anything back. how long does it normally take to get a yes or no from the finance company?

2. give it 3 working days, remember Sat ain't a working day for the financial dudes only for the car salesman. get on the blower by Wednesday then really push them, I`m sure you`ll be OK, happy motoring!
3. why did you put the deposit down before securing the finance? When I bought a car on finance I sat with the guy in the showroom, he put the details into a pc, made a phonecall and i got my answer there and then! Then I put down a deposit and picked the car up two days later.
4. it can take anything up to 3 working days bearing in mind you bought it sat, give the place your buying it from a ring and see how things are proceeding.
